To maintain the quality of manuscripts and to avoid publication misconduct or plagiarism in the publication process, the editorial board has established the scientific publication ethics for Jurnal ABDIMAS Madani, published by LPPM STIKes Madani Yogyakarta. These ethics apply to authors, editors, peer reviewers, and journal managers. The publication ethics refer to the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Author Ethics

1.

Reporting; Authors must provide information about the community service process and results honestly, clearly, and thoroughly to the editorial board, and must keep the community service data safely and securely.

2.

Originality and Plagiarism; Authors must ensure that the manuscript submitted to the editorial board is original, written by the authors themselves, based on their own ideas and thoughts, and not copied from other works or ideas. Authors are strictly prohibited from attributing cited references to individuals other than the original source.

3.

Duplicate Submission; Authors must declare that the manuscript submitted to the editorial board has never been submitted to another journal or publication. If duplicate submissions are discovered, the editorial board will reject the manuscript.

4.

Author Credentials; Authors must confirm that they possess competence or qualifications in a particular field of expertise relevant to the journal’s subject area. Manuscripts must be submitted by the first author (co-authors must be clearly stated), so that any issues in the publication process can be resolved efficiently.

5.

Manuscript Errors; Authors must immediately inform the editorial board if errors are found in the manuscript, whether during the review or editing stage. These errors may include mistakes in names, affiliations, citations, or other text that could reduce the clarity and substance of the manuscript. Authors are required to propose corrections accordingly.

6.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure; Authors must understand and follow the publication ethics to avoid conflicts of interest with any party, ensuring a smooth and safe manuscript process.

7.

Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects; If the work involves chemicals, procedures, or equipment that carry any unusual hazards, authors must clearly identify these within the manuscript.
