Hypertension Management Model Due to Miscellanceous Information on Covid-19 in Communities in Kampung Waras Sariharjo Ngaglik Sleman in 2020

Abstract

Anxiety is a psychologically dangerous factor in influencing hypertension. Anxiety can increase psychosocial stress in many people and result in an increase in blood pressure. The phenomenon of increased blood pressure (hypertension) in Waras Village, Sariharjo, Ngaglik, Sleman by conceptualizing the community as research subjects, shows that all subjects have experienced an increase in blood pressure when receiving unpleasant information about COVID-19. The purpose of this study is to present a model for overcoming hypertension due to misunderstanding of Covid-19 information to the community in Waras Village, Sariharjo, Ngaglik, Sleman. This study uses a normative survey method. Data collection is done through interviews. The research subjects were residents of Waras Sariharjo Village, Ngaglik Sleman. The results show that most of the research informants suffered from level 2 hypertension with a total of 13 people or 65%, hypertension level 1 with a total of 5 people or a percentage of 25%and 2 people or 10% suffer from crisis hypertension so that they require emergency treatment. The blood pressure control model related to Covid-19 information presented includes the application of an Android-based Covid-19 information application by the Sleman Regency Government, the application of psychological management and diet by families and the community carrying out the 3M movement (Reminding, Supporting, and Reporting)
