Abstract

There have been many research efforts and interventions that have been carried out to address health problems in mothers, but generally interventions are carried out during pregnancy and infancy until the age of 2 years. In fact, women's health issues should have received attention since adolescence. Therefore ensuring good health long before pregnancy is very important in efforts to address maternal mortality in Indonesia. Anemia is a public health problem in Indonesia that can be experienced by all age groups ranging from toddlers to the elderly. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of health education through audiovisual media and booklets "as beautiful as TAMI" on knowledge and attitudes of adolescents aboutanemia premarital. Analysis Bivariate in this study used the Kruskal Wallys test because the data were not normally distributed. For the pre and post test bivariate analysis, each group used the Mann-Whitney test. From the statistical test results, it was known that there were differences in the pre and post test knowledge of adolescents about anemia in the control group and the treatment group with a p value of 0.000. There were differences in pre and post test adolescent attitudes about anemia in the control group and the control group with a p value of 0.000. There are differences in adolescent knowledge about anemia in the control group and the treatment group with a p value of 0.000. There are differences in adolescent attitudes about anemia in the control group and the treatment group with a p value of 0.000.
